Traders Point Creamery produces award-winning cheeses, milk and ice cream from organic, 100% grass-fed, non-homogenized milk. We started bottling and selling milk direct to customers in the central Indiana region in the summer of 2003. We now produce several artisan dairy products made in small batches, using traditional methods. Our production practices are designed with health and sustainability as the goals, and with minimally invasive processes we retain as much of the milk’s natural flavor, character, and health benefits as possible. These special products are available in our farm store, and can also be shipped to your door
Meet Our Cheesemaker
Jonathan started his culinary career as a bread-maker at Whole Foods Market. He joined the Traders Point Creamery staff in 2015, and quickly solidified himself as a leader. He was appointed Head Cheesemaker in 2016, responsible for all Creamery operations.
A continuous learner and voracious reader, Jonathon is virtually a self-educated artisan. He has reconstructed nearly every recipe to assure the consistency and highest quality of each finished product. He appreciates our superior, grass-fed milk, and is committed to following the processes and sourcing necessary to insure certified organic products. Using traditional methods and small batches, Jonathon enjoys following the “curds to the cave”, creating our artisan products.
In his free time, he enjoys working on cars and perfecting his woodworking skills. With the mechanical skills he brings to the Creamery, he often serves as “chief repair technician”. He was born in Rockville and raised in Indianapolis. He resides with his wife, Libby, who enjoyed selling these dairy products in our Farm Store. They are the proud parents of two children.
