No celebration is complete without good food, and we are firm believers that good food tastes better when shared with great people. When the food has been prepared with wholesome, organic ingredients, the reasons to celebrate just multiply!

To assist in your weekend festivities, however large or small, we offer two recipes from our kitchen that will please your palates and your health…

Yukon Potato Salad
with Traders Point Creamery Yogurt & Grilled Spring Onions

  • 2 lbs Yukon potatoes, cut into 3/4 in cubes and boiled
  • 1 c Traders Point Creamery whole milk yogurt
  • 1/4c organic mayonaise
  • 4 T organic yellow mustard
  • 2 each hard boiled eggs, rough chopped
  • 2 T chopped dill pickles
  • 1 bunch grilled spring onions, chopped

Cook potatoes in a large pot covering them with water and a few pinches of salt. Cook until tender, about 10-12 minutes, check with a knife to check for tenderness. Drain well.

While potatoes are cooking mix together mayo, mustard, yogurt, pickles. If grill is up grill the spring onions on the hottest part until slightly charred.

Gently fold drained and cooked potatoes into mixture and season with salt and pepper. Let cool completely and Garnish with grilled spring onions.

The Fritz Burger

Make a burger in true Traders Point Creamery, 100% grassfed style with this recipe from Fritz Kunz, one of our owners!

Spicy Beef Burger

  • 1 lb 100% Grassfed Organic Ground Beef (available at our Farm Store)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 heaping tbsp TPC Spicy Fromage for each burger (can substitute a shredded cheese of your choice)

or
Herb Chicken Burger

  • 1 lb. Organic Ground Chicken (available at our Farm Store)
  • 1 tbsp. TPC Garden Herb Fromage for each burger (can substitute a shredded cheese of your choice)
  • Salt and Pepper

Divide your meat for the size of patty you enjoy. Form the patty into a ball and inside put 1 tbsp of TPC Fromage. Form the patty so the cheese is inside. Grill until done and add your favorite toppings!
